The annual NJRW “Put Your Heart in a Book” Conference is less than a month away! To help share our excitement, we’ll shine the spotlight on one of our Golden Leaf finalists each day until the conference.

The Golden Leaf is awarded annually for excellence in romance fiction by authors who are NJRW members or in Romance Writers of America (RWA) Region One.  Winners will be announced during the NJRW Put Your Heart in a Book Conference held October 18-19, 2013.

Spotlight on Contemporary Single Title: “Last Chance Book Club,” by Hope Ramsay (Grand Central)

“Princess, get your butt out of that chair and dance with me.”

Dash snagged Savannah by the hand and pulled her out toward the street. She was overwhelmed by the heat of his touch, the rough texture of his skin, the bath-soap smell of him, and the fact that practically everyone at the dance was watching them.

The band struck up “Can I Have This Dance for the Rest of My Life,” and Dash pulled her close. She placed her hand on his shoulder, immediately struck dumb by the hard muscle beneath her palm. He started moving, and Savannah was amazed to discover that he was light on his feet and knew exactly how to lead. They danced for quite a long time without speaking a single word, and the silence became charged…

Good luck to Hope and all our Golden Leaf finalists!

And TODAY is the LAST day to register for the conference!! Visit our website for more information.
